B is for Books!!!

Day 2 of the A to Z blogging challenge and it's B is for Books, what else could it be? If you know me then you know that I love Books and reading. I love to hold books in my greedy little hands. I haven't made the switch to an e-reader yet and the main reason is that I can't imagine reading from a device instead of holding a book in my hands. Although I do have to admit that heavy hardback books are becoming more difficult for me to hold onto while I read. This is the only reason I can think of to invest in an e-reader. So, off I go to read a real book.

  1. The only way I can get my books into America is through eBooks because of postage, but maybe one day an American agent might notice me, and then my 'real' books could be on sale. :0)

  3. I agree, an eReader is simply a convenience, it's definitely not an experience. A real book is an experience!!
Found you from the A-Z Challenge, looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, with maybe with a little bit of stress thrown in!! I’m now following you on GFC and I hope you have a chance to check out my blog!

  4. Yes, books. Good topic choice for B day. I recently purchased a Kindle and it's sort of welded to my hip. I read more also because everything is at my fingertips.

  5. Now this is a great post! I love books also. I love to hold, caress, smell, write in, under-line and dialogue with the author. I don't think I could ever use a kindle or an e-reader.

  6. I do not think you are alone in wanting to get your "greedy" little hands on real books, I have heard a lot of grumbles about e-readers and the majority of them seem to be about missing having a actual book in hand. What a great "B" post, love it! :)

  7. Oh, to hold a book in hand. It's just not the same as pushing a button to 'flip' a page, is it? Great 'B' post! I look forward to reading more. Happy Sunday! :o)
